Our Company Founder Mel Patzwald

Having previously managed airlines in various countries and spearheaded multinational travel agencies, our founder Mel Patzwald has clocked over 30 years of experience in aviation, travel & tourism and professional sport. Mel established the multi award winning travel agency Airport Travel Centre with a focus on corporate travel and luxury holidays in 2005.

Over the last 16 years the pivot has been to sport themed group holidays-particularly Golf, F1 and Football. Over the last 3 years we have ticked off three bucket-list trips combining F1 with golf. All 3 trips to Monaco, Abu Dhabi and Singapore were perfect. Flights, Accommodation, F1 Tickets (including viewing from a SuperYacht) Golf Courses, Transfers. All superb choices-we'll be in touch again soon.

Our small group journeys to the USA, Japan, Hawaii and Korea were extremely well organised. An emergency during one of our trips forced a participant to cut his trip short. All changes to his flights and transfers to the airport were handled swiftly and efficiently, which took a lot of stress off his mind. A few days later he received a significant, unexpected refund for unused accommodation and golf-that was really appreciated. We'll certainly keep booking with Mel and his team.

Our product ranges from weeklong amateur golf events, corporate golf experiences, bespoke golf trips creating custom itineraries for self led or hosted groups as well as major event experiences. If you’d like us to host the tour we will-if not that is ok as well. We are a fully serviced travel agency-so we can also organise your flights. We have a 30 year track record in aviation, travel & tourism and professional sport. Having previously spearheaded multinational travel agencies, our founder Mel Patzwald established the multi award winning travel company Airport Travel Centre with a focus on corporate travel and luxury holidays. Since then the pivot has been to sport themed holidays with key expertise and experience in golf and football. The ownership structure of the business is now an athletes venture-with current or former sports professionals part of the team.
